Resignation Part 1

I have spent more than 6 yrs with M company , since May 2005 ..

Many important moments happened during the service period.

Bought the first house , father went for heart bypass surgery, get married, mom went for leg surgery ,grandma passed away, bought 2nd property , having my first new car and the arrival of new life in family - my dear baobei son ... and many more.

Frankly speaking , M benefit and compensation is consider good .I like the flexi working hour very much . I have gained trust from boss. But stil I felt that I am in bottleneck dilemma and it is a need for me to change environment and seek for better opportunity.

When I joined the current team , it is a big responsibility for me to keep PG team reputation as many have left the team before this for the role. I managed to stay with the team for years . I actually really hope that with the team grow , i will have change to lead it. But what happened in 2010 really disappointed me. The management parachuted someone with higher grade into the team , not only that , i was asked to slowly pass down the design task that I been doing since development stage to him , and only deal with the sustaining task. That really pissed me of.

I can't imagine that happen to me , at least pls discuss with me before and not just announce it in the meeting. Although he is not long with the team ( yaa.. left after attending the training that I always dream on, fxxx ), but there is already a torn in my heart.

Not long after that , they hired a fresh grad into the team , again without me in the discussion prior this ( hahaha maybe I am too naive to think i am that important ) . Well , again , the excited job scope being assigned to her instead of normal process- new hire to do sustaining job. With first incident , I have lost interest to fight for my right anymore. So ,I dont bother with the arrangement .Just do my own work and whatever being assigned . Not less , Not More. The new hire just with us for 4 mths ,and everything back to square again. Me as lone ranger in the team.

I continue my work as normal , or shud i say with less passion . yeah .. as I am now putting more attention to my son. ( what an excuse .. hahaha )

败了架 Nikon D5100

After Jayden were born , having a DSLR have been in mind as it will be used to capture those precious moment.However , we still have confident with the Canon IXUS that we bought before the Singapore trip few years back.

But , seems like our thought is wrong , the compact camera cant really do the work.. Most of the time, we missed the moment that we like with Jayden ; the picture looks blur.

The kedekut me , still not really want to buy a DSLR , but the photos taken by WenHao during SanYee wedding really gave us big impact. Jayden makes so many funny faces and our compact camera cant even get a nice one shot , but with WenHao's DSLR ...

OMG , he looks so cute and the photos so nice..

With the nice figure of Motorola's MIP , the thought of having a DSLR pop-out again . We struggle with ourselves... To buy or Not to buy ?

With> 2000 ringgit ; it can be invested into stock or amanah saham , or to reduce home loan interest .. but , capturing a precious unforgettable moment is also very important.

After few tarik tali , we decided to buy one ..opsss , now : which model ??

I have in mind : Nikon D3100 and Nikon D5100

I asked the price :

D3100 : RM1900

D5100 : RM2350

Upgrade to 8GB class 10 card : add 40 ringgit

UV Filter : add 50 ringgit

The shop ownert advised me to get the D5100 as it is the latest and I dont have to worry about the spec.

Well , maybe it is true , why not get the latest design instead of having a few years back product.

I am now officially Nikon-ed !! ...... errr.. time to learn the shooting skill ....

Air Revitalisor

I always felt that the air ventilation inside the house is not so good ; make me felt "kok".

So , instead of spending $$$ for air purifier , we opted for air revitalisor. Well.... GreenAire seems to be first choice ( becos that is the brand that I know.. hahahah , the others are from Ogawa , Osim etc ).

孕妇饮食的最佳食品

1. 最佳保胎蔬菜

蔬菜是孕妇的必吃食品之一，其中菠菜尤其值得推荐。

因为菠菜含有丰富的叶酸，叶酸的最大功能在于保护胎儿免受脊髓分裂、脑积水、无脑等神经系统畸形之害。同时，菠菜中的大量B族维生素还可防止孕妇盆腔感染、精神抑郁、失眠等常见的孕期并发症。但菠菜含草酸也多，而草酸可干扰人体对铁、锌等微量元素的吸收，故先将菠菜放入开水中焯一下，则大部分草酸即被破坏掉，吃起来就安全了。

2. 最佳防呕吐食品

美国波士顿市布里格哈姆妇科医院营养学家米丽亚姆·埃里克推荐两种食物可当此任，一种是柠檬汁，另一种是马铃薯片。他认为，选择适合于孕妇口味的食物有良好的防吐作用，与姜汁啤酒、苏打饼干相比，柠檬与马铃薯含有更多的维生素，对孕妇更为有益。

3. 最佳饮料

有专家推荐绿茶，理由是绿茶乃微量元素的“富矿”，对胎儿发育作用突出的锌元素就是其中一种。此外，绿茶含铁元素也不少，故常饮绿茶可防贫血。但传统的观点却是孕期不宜饮茶，主要原因是茶叶中的鞣酸可干扰食物中锌、铁等元素的吸收。最近，研究人员找到了一个两全其美的办法，那就是把握好饮茶的时机。一般说来，进餐后30分钟～60分钟，食物中的铁质已基本吸收完毕，此时再饮茶便无干扰铁质吸收之弊而尽收补锌之利了。

4. 最佳防早产食品

丹麦专家的研究表明，常吃鱼有防止早产的作用。他们调查了丹麦德乐群岛的孕妇，平均孕期比其他地区长5天以上，奥妙在于食谱中鱼类所占比重较大，因而推测鱼肉中某种特殊脂肪酸起了积极作用。由于孕妇的孕期延长，婴儿的平均出生体重也比其它地区高107克，为日后的发育打下了良好的基础，故此种饮食方法很值得借鉴。

5. 最佳零食

建议嗑一点瓜子，诸如葵花子和南瓜子等均有其“一技之长”。如葵花子富含维生素E。南瓜子的优势则在于营养全面，蛋白质、脂肪、碳水化合物，钙、铁、磷、胡萝卜素、维生素B1、B2、尼克酸等应有尽有，而且养分比例平衡，有利于人体的吸收与利用。

6. 最佳酸味食品

女性怀孕以后，胎盘分泌一种绒毛促性腺激素，可抑制胃酸的分泌，致使消化酶的活力降低，导致孕妇胃口减弱，消化功能下降，故吃酸无疑是对此种反应的一种补救。酸味食品可促进肠道中铁质的吸收，对母胎双方都有益处。不过，孕妇吃酸味食物一定要严加选择，如人工腌制的酸菜、醋制品虽然可口，但养分多有破坏，且亚硝酸盐等致癌物也多。山楂中养分倒是不少，但可加速子宫收缩，有导致流产之风险，故孕期最好“敬而远之”。而番茄、杨梅、樱桃、葡萄、柑橘、苹果等才是补酸佳品，孕妇宜多食之。

Very Paiseh Today

Imagine wearing shirt terbalik , all the while from home till company , from car park till office , from office to cafetaria ( for breakfast , friday sommore .. very crowded ) , then back to cube again.. and only realized it around 10.30am when Tony asking me about my "new shirt design"... oh no.. then only i realized that, i wear the shirt terbalik!!

Dentist Visit

I cant remember when is the last time i went for dentist. err.. maybe when i am standard six. Not that i am having a super damn good teeth , but..... i am just afraid to go to dental clinic !!

But today.... 25 June 2009 , marked a historical day in my life.. i went for dentist again !!

No choice , the 2nd right molar is getting pain when i am having food . Have to chew on the other side when taking food. It is fine on normal time.. but i cant live with just 1 side chewing only. In fact, the other side also...... is a problematic teeth . or.... should i say , some leftover problematic tooth ( the molar also ).

After having breakfast with HL. I take the courage to go for dentist . Before that , HL have tried to make an appointment with the dentist , but unfortunately ,fully bookedl. But , i dont care , just go there and Q. There is one patient waiting for his turn , and the one that booked for 10 am havent arrived yet. So , my turn will be ... right after the guy who is waiting , if the 10am one lose his ball and dont turn up.

Oppss... the guy move in edi , but not my turn yet.

"KS"

Nurse called my name edi !! Oh... the dentist is taking up 2 room . so maybe while waiting for the guy to fully numb after the dental injection , she come over for me.. oh.. nope , should be for my molar !!

She examined my teeth.... and give me 2 options :
1. Fast and Cheap - just get the molar extract

2. Time consume and extremely expensive - This will need to have 2 - 3 sessions. First session to "kill" the tooth's root . This will cost around RM 550 , follow by 2nd session to check whether all roots have been de-activated ; or is there any infection . If no , then .. proceed with the repairing with may cost another RM500.

So... as an engineer who only have 2 considerations in mind : Time and Cost. I opted for option 1.

The dentist then cleaning the surrounding gum of the molar ; then dental injection. Slightly pain.. but not as what i expected..hahhahaha then wait while she went to another room.

After about 5 - 10 min , she is back and start checking the "numbness" level. She knock the molar and ask me if there is any pain. I told her , yes.. a little bit feel . She ask bout the lips and tougue numbness , i mentioned to her , i still can feel my tongue !!

OK...

Then .. go for 2nd injection !!! This round she put it around the tooth gum and also at the middle of the teeth . Cant really feel the pain except during injection at the middle of my tooth ( i am not too sure , but this one really pain... abit ).

She asked.. any pain.. hahaha , i replied : Not as pain as 1st time.

After several mins... The time have comes.. Show starts !!

It only takes around 10 sec to remove the molar . And i have no feel at all.

Hahahhaha

After that , just look at my molar ... say goodbye to it.

The overall cost = RM 55 and 1 day MC.

I forgot to bring camera to capture the historical moment. Sigh !!

At the counter , i asked the nurse whether they have throw away my tooth , if not , i would like to capture the photo with my phone camera. but... sudah buang laa...

So, no photo to be shared or kept....

15 年的恐惧。。。 终于克服了！！ yeah !!!

What a day....

After spending 2 days in hometown , I am back to Penang around 5 something. Driving alone was so bored. I kept on thinking of work stuff ; what future should be , maybe i should venture into new field , start own business , what type of business etc.... those kept on playing in my mind. All of sudden , i saw the highway signboard pointing out that "Juru - 4KM '. Opsss... I miss the Tambun Exit.. hahaha so "hutu". Bor pian lor , have to exit Juru and use the old trunking road back to home.

After arrived home , switch on TV and as usual , my finger kept changing the tv channel. Mmmm... the TV9 and TV8 so blur leh. Bad sense , I thought must be very windy last 2 days. Going up to the third floor look through the window. Oh no... the tv aerial felt down leh. Jia lat liao... Worry that it break the roof . Aiyoo... hopefully not. I also plan to pay the bangla guy to fix this for me. Sun bian ask him to check any broken roof .

Surfing for a while.... mmm so sleepy... as usual , switch on the air-cond and fan. And the fan noise sound weird. Dont care first , so I went to brush teeth. When I lying on bed , feel so"kok" . Alamak , the fan is not moving leh. So, i woke up and play around with the remote control ,went down to use the downstair remote control . Still not working. Shit !! This Elmark fan quality so char meh.... end up.. i slept around 2 am ; without fan just aircond.

Day 1 at Copenhagen

I was asked to fly to Copenhagen ASAP to finalize the product's design. No more flying with Cathay Pacific as it is not preferred airline for CPH route. This round , i am going to fly with Austrian Air. The route will be PNG-KL-BKK-Vienna-Copenhagen. PG-KL (MAS) , KL-BKK (Thai) , BKK-Vienna-CPH (Austrian).

While checking in at Penang Airport , the MAS officer at the counter have told me to check out my luggage at Bangkok and check in again. I dont want to do that as I want it to be check out at destination. Well, he tried to do as per my demand and finally he managed to do it in the system. However, me and my dear baobei found out from other officer in the ticketing counter that there is only one baggage tag given. We check it with the guy that handle my check in just now and guess what ? The baggage tag (BKK-CPH) was in the dustbin !! WTF !! The guy then promised me that he is going to stick the tag on my luggage. So , I thought everything is fine.

When reaching the CPH airport about 9.20 am (sunday), I couldnt found my luggage. OMG.. a check with the airline counter shows that my luggage is still in Bangkok. It must be the bugger's fault. I am so nervous and angry , but what else can I do ? Just make a report and hope that my luggage will arrive ASAP.

After spending more than 40 min for the baggage report , I took train to Copenhange H station. Outside weather was so cool and windy. I am freezing and still need to walk for about 15 min to Marriott Hotel where i will be staying for 2 weeks. The official check-in for the hotel is 4 pm but i tried to get early check-in and been told by the frontdesk officer that 40 min is needed to get my room ready .

Well, ok.. then i just wait at the lobby. And the crowd at the front desk getting more and more (check-out the room) .. with angmo wearing all kind of winter jacket. 40 min have passed and my room is not ready yet. After waiting for another 30 min , finally ,my room is ready. It was about 1.30 pm !! I am so tired and hungry. After exploring the room and take a little rest. I plan to go out for lunch ; but it was raining. Alamak.. i am so depressed so I made an international call to my dear baobei. At least i can hear her sweet voice and that will definitely calm me down (but wont make my stomach full off course) Back to room after the 10 min chat with my baobei. I guess God must be listen to her prayer, the rain stop and I managed to go out to hunt for some food.

Walking along the windy street at 3C celcius with my "thin" jacket. Angmo must be thinking that we chinese are very keng , can tahan cold weather. I went to McD for my lunch+dinner. Had the Chicken n Bacon , McBacon and hamburger with warm chocolate. That cost me 55 DKK ( about RM 38).

老公Business trip....Nov 08

Business trip to Copenhagen again is the last minute decision made by hubby's company. After the flight was confirmed, we only have 3 days for the preparation. At the same time, i was also quite busy for the company stuff, so i felt so sorry did not help a lot hubby to prepare his luggage.

15-Nov 1pm, from penang.blogspot seems like no traffic jam problem at penang bridge. But when the time we reached Penang bridge toll at about 3.45pm, oh my godness, there is long queue of cars move extremely slow towards the toll station, there have another long queue after pay at the toll station...

Luckily with our small cute cute Kancil, we can move our car very fast and when the time go out from bridge is 4.20pm. Hubby drive very fast, because we scare not enough time to check in. Within 10mins time, we reach safely at Penang air port. After this experience, in future we will cross over the bridge much earlier, penang bridge traffic jam situation is very terrible!

After i park my car and walk to check in counter, my hubby still arguing with the staff in the counter to convince him allow for check out his luggage directly at Copenhagen instead of check out in the half way transaction (Bangkok ). One more terrible thing happen at behind.....when my hubby failed to perform web check in to select the seat for the flight from KLIA to Bangkok & to Vienna, then we go MAS information counter to check the problem. Now only we found the staff in the check in counter just now throw away the sticker for luggage (transaction from Vienna to Copenhagen) that suppose to stick at the check in luggage! He only provide us the sticker with the luggage stop at Bangkok and also our fault we didn't look carefully . The staff quickly said he will go to help to put back to the correct luggage.

Actually the most surprise incident happen in the last.....when my hubby reach safely in Copenhagen, he found his check in luggage was missing! His luggage was stop at Bangkok! This is really unprofessional service provided by MAS! I fully support my hubby to write a complain letter to MAS to report this kind of incident!

It was raining day when my hubby reach there, there was no restaurant near to the hotel (Marriott hotel). So he was so hungry and so cold there. So pity him....if i was fall into this kind of situation, i believe i will cry. After the rain stop, only he manage to find one McD restaurant not so far from the hotel. Then now only he has mood to enjoy the luxury room that he going to stay for 2 weeks.










My hubby, although this is not the first time you fly far away from me, but i still will feel very miss you.....No people talking a lot beside me, i felt our house is so silent. Hopefully you will enjoy your 2 weeks time there and back to 119 house safely at 30Nov08.

Dinner @ Chicago - Nov'08

Today we invite a special guess to our blog....She is Yen Hong (My brother's gal gal). Because of my brother never bring her to Chicago restaurant for dinner, so during the time now my brother was business trip in US, then we bring along Yen Hong to have dinner @ Chicago Auto City...
Look at Yen Hong, she is so happy with the food here...

























If not mistaken, in Malaysia, Chicago only available in Penang (Auto city) not even in KL.
We been here few times, and this time we found the food size is become smaller compare to previous few times, would it because of economic issue that happen worldwide now? But the most important is no change of food quality, still very tasty!
Besides food quality, another point is service provided also very satisfied!

Tips: When you make the payment, remember to ask for the Chicago sticker (stick at your credit card), so next visit you can get 10% discount of your total bill.

HueyLing's Birthday

i complain said he forgot my birthday, so in the
very early morning, before i go to work,
he quickly give me a birthday
cake...... :) .















We did not have any special celebration, already 老夫老妻, Just have a very wonderful dinner at Tao restaurant. Environment here is very nice, romantic and the decorations also very attractive.
The service provided also perfectly meet customer requirement.
This is my 2nd time being here, first time i came together with my colleague for a project celebration. Experience told me that if more people join the dinner, then you can try more types of foods. All the foods here really delicious. For 2 people, we still can order
many foods, but is easily get full....

Oct 2008 - 新加坡之旅

第四天
今天是我们在这次的新加坡之旅的最后一天了. 一大早,我们就去Singapore flyer 了, 因为怕来不及Check out (1pm).
首先我们是搭MRT 到City Hall 站,然后从那儿等Free shuttle bus 去Flyer. Free shuttle bus 9.30am 就开始有了,可是只有我们两个搭客而已.

到了Flyer, 也许还很早,旅客只有小猫两三只.
Before 上Flyer 的Security 蛮严一下,
像Custom 一样要检查身上的物品.




一个原本可以装28个
人的箱,现在却只有我
们两个人而已,所以我们可以自由的在里面活动.

Oct 2008 - 新加坡之旅

第三天
一大早，吃完早餐后，我们就出发到East coast Park @ Bedok Jetty. 首先是搭地铁到Bedok Station, 然后搭的士到目地的。在这里，有好多活动可以进行，有的划浪，有的骑脚车，有的Camping, 有的游泳，有的在BBQ.....可是我们走了很久很久才找到出租脚车的店，真的累死我们。

刚开始骑脚车的时候，我们两个都不习惯，所以脚车骑得摇来摇去，还害怕会橦到路上的人。更甚的是，脚车链没两下就脱掉，害我们被逼停在一旁修理。幸亏老公很快就弄好了。所以我们可以继续路程啦！













这里的沙滩还有很多用沙建成的很美城堡哦。







在桥的两边还有很多人在忙着钓鱼呢！













午餐过后，我们就到Orchard 去Shopping lah...... 可是这个时候没有Sales。所以我们只买了几件短裤和T-Shirt. 但还是有好吃的美食....

本来我们是打算在傍晚的时候去Singapore Flyer 的， 那里知道天在这时候不作美，竟然下了一场大雨，所以我们只好继续在Shopping center 里逛逛。过后，就到 The Merlion 拍照。
















从 Esplanade Bridge 往过去，背后就是Singapore Esplanade (Theatres by the Bay) 和Singapore flyer. 听说许多大型的Musical performance 或Concert 都是是在这"榴莲头" 里面进行了. 我们也不忘为我们的小熊在这代表性的Merlion 拍照留恋哦!














走到累了,我们就到City Hall里面闻名的亚坤Kaya Toast 店享受下午茶. 它的咖啡好浓,好香. 在很多的Shopping Complex 里面都可以找到这间店. 想不到,这么便宜及简单的食物却在各大的商场都可看见.
有机会到新加坡,我们一定会再光顾.







晚上, 原本以为可以欣赏到The world's largest fountain (在Suntec City)外面,可是我们等了将近40 分钟却还是没看到,也不知道为什么会没有, 那里的Board 明明写着每晚8-10pm 都会有Show. 也许我们没有缘分欣赏吧,希望下一次有机会在 看到吧.
既然没得看, 我们就去另一个夜景很美的地方, 叫Charke Quay. 这里有好多Pub 及很贵的餐馆, 大多数坐在里面的都是外国佬. 相信这里也是情侣拍拖的地点之一吧.







































p/s: 不知道你们有没有注意到,我们背后的桥的Color.....我也是在排照片的时候才发现的.
这里还有一个好刺激的玩意儿, 我想没有多少个人可承受吧!
